   An @import inside a stylesheet is the worst of the four: the browser cannot
   even discover the font until nfl.css has arrived and been parsed, so the
   chain is HTML -> nfl.css -> fonts.googleapis.com CSS -> fonts.gstatic.com
   woff2, four round trips deep, all of it render-blocking. Self-hosting
   collapses that to one same-origin file that a <link rel=preload> in the head
   starts fetching immediately, and it removes fonts.googleapis.com AND
   fonts.gstatic.com from the page outright rather than reaching them faster.

   NFL IS WIRED HERE; the other three migrate with their sports. Their @imports
   are deliberately untouched (NHL is out of the rebuild entirely, ruling 4).

   THE FIVE WEIGHTS PER SUBSET ARE NOT REDUNDANT — see fonts/README.txt. They
   point at one variable file each, exactly as Google's own CSS does, which is
   what makes the rendering identical rather than merely similar. Collapsing
   them to a font-weight RANGE would silently re-render every 650 and 750 on
   the site (--w-row and --w-lead) a step lighter.

   No hex literals here, by design: verify_bkm_ui.py fails the build on one.
   url()s are RELATIVE so they resolve under both entrances.
